For Jack...his 3 years after leaving were nothing but a slow descent into suicide.
For Sawyer, his whole life is turned around. And sure...you'd like to get back to your time and everything else...but after 3 years, don't you at some point assume that's never gonna happen and make the best of what you have?
Which is power, a great home and a great woman?
The ONLY thing I'd be concerned about if I was Sawyer is that eventually, all of Dharma is killed off in one swoop. Otherwise, after 3 years...fuck you Jack and fuck you for coming back.
