Obama said we need to focus on those ASPECTS of the economy that are fundamentally sound.
To me "aspects" is the key. The economy still sucks ass as everyone knows...but there are parts of it that don't suck ass...and THAT'S what we need to focus on.
McCain's comment was telling us that the fundamentals of our economy we ok...in fact, better than ok...they were strong. And we all know that was bullshit.
