I often don't make pasta or rice with my concoctions (or when I start from jarred sauce base), just eat them with bread on the side.

It was decent, I tried some on a bun like a sloppy joe and it was just fine.

maybe traditionally; but I've seen tv-made versions and photos accompanying recipes, esp. with ground meat, where they're much thicker..
