then they shouldn't have jumped in feet first if they weren't able to provide the level of service we expect. It's not from any failing to "read the Canadian market", it's that they never had any freaking inventory in stores, and it was impossible to find out what they actually had, or if it was in any stores if it was in their flyer. In comparison with how other stores ran their sites, it was like traveling back to 1996. Hell, even in-store pickup would have gone a long ways towards mollifying people. I'll grant maybe one difference, in that Wal-Mart in Canada is not viewed as negatively as it in the US, but that was easily overcome if they had had anything at all to buy. Why should we be expected to forgive them through their growing pains if they were doing something they knew couldn't be done?
