I find your lack of imagination and your tendency to rush to jump to extremes rather tiring. The fact that he noted that the puncher would be arrested should be an *obvious* clue that that reaction is not approved by society or authorities. But here we are having to make it extra extra clear for you since you're being obtuse about this. No one is defending violence against speech and it's ridiculous to suggest that. What is being argued against is the notion that everyone gets to say the most offensive thing they can think of without any social consequences, and that everyone running around being as offensive as they can think of is a good thing for society.
