you choose your religion you don't choose your race or your gender for that matter thats one of the main reasons why race and sex and other minorities gets special protection under the law even in a more liberal country like sweeden

politics and religion are more alike in that thoose are (i hope) consious decissions and thous even if you can't see yourself as anything but a anarkist, conservative or buddist your not forced to be that by birth
