also, Boy Next Door looks completely 1-dimensional. Everyone should rent The Lifeguard this weekend instead.

By making the villain in BND a psychotic predator, there's no room for me to question the 'hero' character at all. If this is supposed to be some cautionary tale, it sounds equivalent to "if you had just paid your car insurance that airplane wouldn't have fallen out of the sky onto it."
Make the 'villain' an antagonist because he's principled about it - maybe he feels guilty and wants to repent publicly, maybe he doesn't want to feel like he's not important enough to be recognized, maybe he feels ageist rules against love should be fought. Put Booty's character in a conundrum and catch-22, not just a crisis.
