I've gone back to reading on the bus to and from work, rather than reading on my phone.

That helps.

And I usually read for an hour at night as part of my "sleep hygiene" routine. I turn off all the screens an hour before bed, dim the lights a bit, and sit in my chair and knit or read. Or both.
