we've talked about those before - I enjoyed them as well, bought them close to when they came out. (still have them stored away, maybe I should bring 'em out.)

one thing I blame fsog for is the flooding of its sub-genre with wannabes and copycats, some who pretty much just change names and locations and such - so ridiculous, and so few (that I've read anyway) are actually good. and it's become clear that there are way too many amazon reviewers who accept mediocre as good. oof. (aside: amazon really needs a way to filter out reviews from unverified purchases or to make people who received for free say it up top of reviews.)

do you ever read gay relationship-y stories? if so, I read some quite good ones last year.
