Let's see..

I'm usually terrible at listing favorites, but I think I can say that "broken pieces" by riley hart was my favorite of that type last year. started it on president's day last year around lunchtime, intending to just read a little before heading out to run errands. yah, I read it straight through that afternoon. parts of it have stuck with me. note: the story is about 3 guys and there is some sex, but it's much more about them and their interactions - starts with two guys, shifts to one of them plus someone else, then a mix of the three. there's a sequel, but I haven't yet brought myself to read it (though I did buy it and will eventually) because I just don't think it can be as good.

I like riley's "collide," too - it has 2 other books that follow; the second was pretty good, and I haven't yet read the 3rd. all are different main characters; so it's not annoyingly in parts, thank goodness!

similar to that, "waiting for ty" by samantha ann king was enjoyable (there are some other books in that series that aren't just guys, sometimes with more than 2 people, that were also pretty good.)

for something even steamier, with one of my favorite character voices of any book I read last year, "try" by ella frank (there's a sequel, "take" that was pretty good); and I enjoyed some of her other guy-woman books, from which these spun.

and, in the hot vein, a pretty much first time college story was v. good: "my roommate's pleasure"
