I think #6 is as tonal a miss as any movie in the last decade.

it's treated as insular when the danger is truly all-worldly...

and the book is real clear...Harry's going hunting.

"I'm leaving school."
"If you run into Snape?"
"Better for me, so much worse for him."

--- That's a tone that never once shines through the 6th movie. Harry, the boy who stared down evil multiple times is finally, without question, accepting his place on the battlefield.

Because London is really burning; not just Hogwarts.
