I have an uncle and aunt who have long lived there. in much of the u.s., they'd be considered moderate; but, there, it feels more super conservative.

I know someone else, also a longtime resident, who fits the stereotype better.. only he is an executive in charge of serious corporate speak for a publicly traded company. split personality happens.
