Meaning, even if the kids with the dumb parents get the measles, are the kids with the smart parents are safe from getting it?

Vax typically don't prevent or kill the germ, you just ignore it, but can carry it to others, and a vaxxers kid can get it from a sick one

I have a newborn who can't get MMR until he's 1. I have a (vaccinated) kid going to kindergarten in September.

It's bigger for kids that can't get vaccinated for medical purposes (allergic or suppressed immune systems). They've been protected by herd immunity -- nm

Don't the reports say it's only ~99% effective, and ~93% after the first shot......It's the herd immunity thing, the less risk overall the less

Vaccinated ones are safe for the most part. But what else or other strains could be lurking, affecting other people -- nm
