I have a newborn who can't get MMR until he's 1. I have a (vaccinated) kid going to kindergarten in September.

I don't know how long measles can survive on surfaces, but it's a lot longer than HIV. And any friends the older one makes who are unvaccinated & visit our home are a potential threat vector.
