Kim and I were second to arrive out of four children. People kept showing up to offer their condolences, so we kept having to repeat the same stories. After a while, it made my skin crawl.
Something that has helped me that you should consider down the line is a digital picture frame. Add some images of your dad out of a couple hundred ones of you guys and your friends/pets. That way, you're not bombarded with his images but you will occasionally see one that will make you remember a happy thing about him. It will make the situation more tolerable.
It's supposed to be easier when you're older but the reality is that when you love your parent, it's not something you get past.
