In response to "When ours happened last year..." by David

Good suggestion. Yes, repeating the story to his brothers and sisters and then having to tell work

hearing my wife tell her parents. it started to become robotic. The first 2 days I was so numb I don't think I cried more than a few seconds and a time.

THEN, day three it hit hard. and day 4 and day 5

So he made 8mm movies from the time he was a kid until his 20s . I had already been moving them from 8mm to bluray, but now I will finish it up this year.

It's truly and awesome thing to have movies of my Dad from about 14 years old into his 40s to watch. His generation was just not into it like our digital aged group. So I am truly lucky to have movies from the 1950s of my Dad - the 80s.

I am SO glad he did that. It's been comforting to watch a few.
