The guess is simple....we thought we could catch them unaware and still have 2 plays in hand (3rd down and 1 TO with a stopped clock)

but Russell ended up making a bad decision and the Pats player made a good play.
If Marshawn gets stuffed on 2nd down, they have to take the time out then, and have to pass twice on 3rd and 4th if needed.
