The Sprint/Radio Shack deal is more complicated than you'd expect.

Radio Shack is selling a portion of their stores - about half of their 4,000 outlets - to General Wireless, which will then operate them as joint Sprint/Radio Shack stores. I think it's safe to assume that the rest will just be shuttered.
