with bush. with bush it seemed to start off slow at the begining of his first term(a 1 hatey boner out of 10), and the hatey slowly ramped up to ridiculous levels (14 out of 10)

with obama it appears that the starting point seems to be higher (maybe a 3-4 hatey out of 10).

some may be payback for what bush and his supporters were given, some is just the natural bias against personal politics, but it does seem to be a bit strong right out of the gate

I think you're misremembering. Because of the election controversy hatey started high with Bush. 9/11 unified briefly but Iraq War took hatey higher. -- nm - Dano Mar 20, 10:57 2
