poor bob simon, too. he was one of the best things about "60 minutes" before I almost completely gave it up.. last year? after watching it regularly from kidlethood on. a still photo of scott pelley, from his announcing the death, that accompanied the aol version of the story earlier today really got to me. so sucks, especially since he wasn't driving. (I didn't see if he was wearing a seatbelt. may not have mattered with the state of the car. :/)
