I have not seen those videos. I didn't realize how integral part of my news/NYT/Twitter life he was until now.

He was there and important, but until now I didn't realize how much of a source he was for me, how much trust I had him, how much he mattered.
I remember him tweeting about his daughters all the time :(
This hits in a strangely painful way.
