every day by itself (and I wouldn't spend so much on something just used for rare night outings).

if I put just a little to avoid over-shimmery, it's almost nothing, more of a gleam that doesn't do much for me at all; so I put a regular amount then go over it with a dusting of a matte shadow. too much work and extra time for what ends up being the same impact as just using a less shimmery shadow, you know?
