I think Pettitte had a better chance *if he was good enough* becuase he was as forthright as anyone was.

now, was he honest? Who knows. he gave more info than anyone about using.
That said, his #'s are still behind the no-doubts like Maddux, Johnson, Pedro...Glavine and probably behind Mussina, Schilling and Smoltz, and probably even Kevin Brown (who got no sniff).
he'd need to be jesus christ to get votes over that line up.
