We've been taking a methodical approach. I'm having fun just killing stuff. We've beaten almost all of the levels several times and I have maxed out all of the womens except for the semi-automatic rifle I just got. Overkill is an issue, but I'm having fun.
Have you gone back to level 1-1 and tried to kill all of the people that chase you right after you face your first zombie and dive through a window?
