Maybe that's why Gotham is my favorite new show and I bailed on Shield after 2 episodes.

Despite falling on the Marvel side of the Marvel v DC discussion.

It does make sense in that one is prequel and one is going forward (in tandem with a move universe) that Gotham could really build the world we know.
