LYC . . . i'm supposed to go to an event in Lexington KY this weekend as part of a graduate class 'thing' . . .

and as many of you may know, there's a fresh wave of ice and snow coming through Tennessee, Kentucky, and surrounding areas. I don't know yet if the event is even still scheduled to go on or not. I do not know either if we're still going to be required to go to the event. What I DO know is that i'm not excited over the prospects. i've emailed my professor in a passive-aggressive way (addressing weather concerns in general) to see what he says. but right now, with predicted high temps not going to reach 30, much less above freezing, for at least a couple of days, I do not see myself attempting to drive 3+ hours each way all for some effin' 'project' thing for a class.
