60's gogo was much more leg action, lots of knees like sexy jogging

I had a crazy girl friend who was a yippee in the haight, I mean she knew the free store people, she said she loved dancing so much that she'd go to a record store and just dance for hours on the counter
*i don't know why cause I am not a dancer, but it seems half of my girl friends were pro semi pro dancers, members of folk dance troops, a belli dancer, the above mentioned gal was into modern dance and the story was she impressed someone with Twila Tharp got invited to an audition, cause she was so giddy with the prospect, was doing some ballet jumps and...landed wrong adn f'd up her ankle.
