It's only good if the Iranians are desperate for a deal. I don't think they are.

If no deal happens, a lot of the European sanctions will disappear anyway. It'll take maybe a year or so, but there has been a lot of European trade with Iran and the sanctions are hurting Europe in a time when it has a lot of things hurting its economy.
Those sanctions NEED to stay in place for Iran to want/need a deal. If this deal falls apart, we get nothing and Iran gets a reduction in sanctions.
