in this case, if mop can't get the age thing out of his head, I'd suggest what Andie said as another place to start. interacting with similar-age women should be more comfortable for him, then maybe a transition to somewhat younger is more likely.

(gotta say, guys looking for half-their age women - or women for men- can sometimes be sad and kind of depressing for all involved and those looking in who are of the older side of things; but, in the end, we like what we like, and, if it's done for good reasons, on we all go.)
