I have yet to fly any of the ME3.

Not purposely avoiding them, but I've never traveled to the ME and, beyond travel to India or perhaps easter/southern Africa, travel via the ME seems a bit roundabout for a US person.
Though seeing the number of A380s that Emirates sends to the US (saying nothing of the massive Ethiad and Qatar planes) I'm guessing plenty of others see it as a logical routing.
