I don't think I'll even buy any synths this time.

The only things I'm looking for in the raid are Black Hammer and a good titan helmet. Other than that, I'll just do it for fun, for materials and to help people out. I don't really use synths other than there or maybe in the nightfall.
If you don't have the titan helm that Xur is selling and plan on doing hard mode Crota with a titan, buy it. You don't need that orbs replenish health perk, but it really helps.
