You know how to read the symbols to tell what patrol mission it is, right?

To do it quick you want the ones with the triangle (collect x from killing y enemy), dots in the corners (kill enemies), and star in the middle of a circle (eliminate target). The others (compass and ghost shell) send you to other areas. You do one of them if you're already going to another area. On Earth there are 3 beacons where you start patrol, 3 to the left, and 2 in the next section. Or 2 to the right and 3 or 4 in the next section from it. Also of note, the eliminate target ones give 25 rep (31 with nightfall bonus) while the rest only give 10 (12 with nightfall bonus).
