Truman 28% (Started the Korean War on his own, and some scandals in his administration), GWB 34%, Reagan 45% (He really lost popularity at the end), Johnson 46%, Eisenhower 58%, Clinton 65%.

I'm fascinated by the historical white-washing of Reagan's career. He was viewed as a doddering fool when I first paid attention to politics. -- nm
