That's the very foundation of what the argument is about.

They may be saying "sure, we want more women players" but it's couched in the terms of " but they need to play the games we like or they aren't welcome."

It's very much got a He-Man Women Haters club feel to it. "What do you mean I can't leave my porno mags out on the table anymore?"
