I think a more inclusive gaming community will help rectify some of those issues. Be a bit less hand-in-glove in nature

with a more diverse group of creators and a more diverse group of consumers.
If only because it'll be harder for the games media to ignore certain games if those games have a vocal audience.
Even now the voices in the gaming media don't have much diversity.
