Kind of matches up with my general feeling that it took me awhile this year to get into the spirit of things and so was betting fewer and less.

I think the next tracking I need to do is to hang on to all my bar receipts. Those spirits I was well into and while I hope they don't approach $288...just the ones that ended up on my credit card would indicate that bill was well in excess of $100 though some of that would be food at those stops.

As the rest of our group points out, I would rather take the guaranteed exchange of $$ for drinks as opposed to the wager of either winning or losing at the machines / table. It also tends to be a much, much slower rate. I watched my brother go through $100 at a slot machine in what seemed to be 10 minutes.
