it would have been fun to have given them a bit more time. But - I'd totally take another 6 episodes.

I picked up a book on the Roman Army yesterday. I love the bit about how'd they'd build camps each night to bed down. That, like a lot of what they did, there was a practical aspect as well as a statement made. That they would build a temporary fort, that was in some cases more impressive than the surrounding area's buildings and that the enemy could see the advance, inexorably, of the Roman Army.
