In response to "What does this indicate? I heard he didn't impress at the Combine. Is this like giving him a 2nd chance?" by Mop

Top-tier prospects will have private workouts scheduled with teams as extra auditions...

there's basically 3 types of workouts

Combine workout -- NFL sanctioned -- disadvantage = unfamiliar setting and recievers which can affect timing.

Pro-Day workout -- Held at the college for all its NFL-eligible players -- advantages = home field, your own receivers so you have a comfort level in timing and such...

Private workouts -- actions = determined by team.

---

Basically, each has it's positives and negatives as far as who controls the agenda. A bad pro-day is likely a worse reflector overall than a bad Combine because the colleges set the agenda at Pro-Day.

Granted, both are overall not vital (as seen by Teddy B last year) to NFL success.
