An assistant got thrown under the bus at the end of 2014.

They didn't want to re-hire Pearl to avoid the appearance of impropriety, and the fans rejected Cuonzo due to skin pigmentation. So, we got what we deserved here.

UT is broke and woefully lacking in talent, but they have made the Sweet 16 four out of the past nine years. We'll see how that translates in the coaching search.

Our AD needs to fall on his sword for this one, though. It's unforgivable. I am generally overly patient with personnel decisions, but this one is a crippler. The ONE thing they couldn't do in passing on Pearl was bring in a cheater.
