I really can't figure out Chrome on my laptop. I've uninstalled and downloaded it multiple times now and still it won't access any website. Firefox

works fine.

does IE work? maybe you have a proxy server set (Chrome inherits most of IE's settings while Firefox usually operates independently) -- nm

IE works. There's a small blue and yellow shield on the Chrome icon on the taskbar, so I think that's blocking it somehow.
