They are the older ones, so the most grindy. I'd recommend Bravely Default instead for a more modern take on the genre also by Square Enix. -- nm

It starts out abundantly sad, and there is some sexually suggestive material in the form of Ringabel, a "ladies man," but I think I'd be okay with it
