they told me that I would receive a lesser-amount card, because of the fee, and that was aggravating; but then they took the fee out of the new card.

I really think they just lied to me to get me off of the phone. I asked for a supervisor of the rude guy who was said to be a supervisor, and he gave me an e-mail address for what turned out to be their regular CS contact, which sent me to an evil loop.
I was going to deal, though, because it wasn't that much money in the mix; but with this second round, I'm onto shaming. grr.
