But was probably an overaggressive move by the 3B coach, or it should have been mentioned that he ran through the sign. He was at first with 2 outs. Ball gets hit to the wall and thrown in. The catcher gets the ball when Pearce is about halfway between 3rd and home. Easy out, so much so that Pearce even starts to slow down. he still slides, and motions that he was safe. Replay showed that he actually was, as when he slid his foot beat the tag by the catcher (who was slow on the tag to the chest). Call was reversed, run scored. The game is in Tampa and they lost an earlier challenge of a play at the plate.
