so, LYC, I just got my test results for last week's big comprehensive test exams . . . spoiler IM . . .

yeah, so . . . didn't make it. not even close. and apparently, neither did a lot of others from what the professor inferred . . .

so, next step is taking the exam again around the 1st week of June.

word among students over the past few years has been that if a student fails the Comps a 2nd time, they get a "project" of some kind to finish things up. I didn't want to outright ask the professor this morning about that option. I passive-aggressive indirectly asked about "so, what happens if someone doesn't pass the 2nd time, where do we go from there>?"

"Well, you take it a third time."

She went on to vaguely mention an "alternative test" thing for special and 'extenuating' circumstances.

So . . . it's back to the drawing board and try to prep for the test again (like I don't have enough to worry over with just passing these classes and all right now before I get to the retake . . .)
