I was supposed to have an overnight trip ~600km away. plane got 90% of the way there and had to turn around because of a technical problem. nobody

in the arrival city to fix it, but apparently not bad enough to stop a flight in progress. meetings were reasonably schedule-sensitive, and delaying a half day means rescheduling completely. plus side: I didn't have to overnight in Kalgoorlie, minus: I basically spent five hours just to get to the office this morning.
