I don't know if you've heard Tati rave about Beenigma face cream and recently say she "convinced them" to give a 50% off code for a while? that slays me, in and of itself, even though I know makeup/skincare markups can be ridiculous; but outright 50%? that's like handing over the tale on a silver platter.
anyhoo, they didn't have their full ingredients list on their site, which made me extra leery and suspiciuous. I wrote to them and am really disappointed - they're all about the natural ingredients, except when they're really not, apparently. their cream may have some natural ingredients (they do not give the inclusive list nor percentages, so no telling how much of the actives there actually are); but it's also loaded with fake crap, including some stuff that is to be avoided for anyone with sensitive skin. ugh!
$129.99 starting price for some unknown amount of manuka honey (not very expensive - they even sell it in a jar at trader joe's) and bee venom (eh) somewhere in this mess:
Water, Glyceryl Stearate (S/E), Cetyl alcohol, Stearyl alocohol, Stearic acid, Butyropemum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter), Glycerine, Ceteareth – 20, Decyl Oleate, Dimethicone, Triethanolamine, Propylene Glycol + Diazolidinyl Urea, Honey and Almond Oil
I've probably mentioned here that I can't use silicones more than a little and infrequently at that, as they cause little bumps under my skin and/or more skin badness - it's a cheap ingredient manufacturers used to give the illusion of results, as it makes skin feel smooth. if I'm paying $70, let alone 129.99, there darned well better be more of a result than an illusion! ;p
