I haven't ever been able to take them in more than small doses, but that doesn't surprise me.
I totally don't begrudge free things or money-making in and of itself, it's just, as I said, I want it all to be disclosed and at least mostly genuine.
I have to limit primers, even those without silicones, as my skin doesn't like them very much; but I recently bought the new smashbox primer water (I felt/feel kind of like a sucker for it, but on we go). in the few times I have tried it so far, I don't think it does anything more than, like, evian water spray cans. :/ I don't like returning things; but, if I'm not seeing anything more later this week, when we'll be up in the 80's, back it's gonna go.
I like that airbrushed look a lot, but it's not easy for me. I can't swing liquid or cream foundations very often - the feel gets to me and/or my skin doesn't seem to like 'em very often, either (sensitive city).
my deal: depending on season/heat/humidity, almost every day that I wear makeup, I use some concealer (my fave for the past couple of years has been from "collection" - I ebay it from the UK or asia) and then either laura mercier's mineral powder or bare minerals' usually with either nars mineral setting powder or bm's mineral veil on top, then a light hit of guerlain's seemingly-neverending meteorite balls. (as said before, it takes a lot of products for a natural look! :D)
in warmer times, I also like physician's formula's organic cc cream quite a lot - no silicones + it has sunscreen for another layer of protection on my oh-so-very-paleness. (not that I'm directly outside much most of the time, so it's all primarily for the left side of my face - driving exposure matters!).
I am so impressed that you nabbed a beauty steal - I've had bad luck trying to take advantage here, even when I've stopped right when they open (I wrote to customer support about this, but nothing - apparently they didn't care that employees either bought deals themselves or for others, boo) enough that I didn't try this year. :/
