If Furious 7 makes more than $360.78 million domestically, the last 4 films in the series will have accomplished 3 impressive box office feats.

The first 2 have already happened:
1) Each of the past 4 films has made more than the original film.
2) Each of the past 4 films has made more than the previous film in the series (ex. Fast Five made more than Fast and Furious).
The third is even more impressive, and piggy backs on the last two. If Furious 7 reaches $360.78 million then each of the past 3 films will have better legs than the previous film in the series.
So, even though the films have gone from opening at $70.95 million to $86.2 million to $97.37 million to $147.18 million, they each had better legs than the last.
In simpler terms, Furious 7 opened to more than double what Fast and Furious did, and will have a way better final multiplier.
