Probst has confirmed that the advantage at the auction is a second vote. They'll know before Tribal and it will be up to them whether or not they share with anyone else. Essentially, it can be used anytime until Probst says, "I'll go tally the votes". And it does not double your vote...rather, sends you back to the urn with another piece of parchment to vote for whomever you choose.

This should be really interesting...I mean it could be used offensively "Vote with me or else" or as a complete surprise. Not sure it helps Shirin/Jenn much though...they're down in #s 7-2...even with a split vote, the double vote wouldn't save them.
