won't, like, call my mom and tell her or post it all over facebook or call onward state or whatever. right? because you guys are a part of me. you're my stew -- you're where I go when I need to simmer on something a bit.

so I'm buying a house, as we all know, but not until 7/15. ANYTHING could happen between now and then, so I'm not telling many people besides you, my money dude, sash, el, karen, patryk, jz. my very closest friends. everyone knows it's hush hush.

so I called my mom last week and told her because I didn't want her to hear it from someone else. I asked her specifically not to tell anyone because ANYTHING could happen between now and then (see above) and she said that she would not. this was last wednesday.

saturday, I got an email from my uncle congratulating me. my mom reached out to him UNSOLICITEDLY and told him that I was buying a house. jz just IMd me that my mom told his father and stepmother on sunday.

I...
from now on I am only ever telling you guys anything.
